By following those instincts instead, listening, paying attention, doing the thing and following through, then sure as shit things will change.

You will no longer feel like a loser.
A failure
The one who doesn’t deserve to be in the game because you don’t fit into the box


The box is for the other people

The ones who need the rules,
The edges
The guidance
The “this is how its’ done” mentality.

Let them have their boxes, hell let ’em stand on it if they want and shout their shit for more box-folk to hear them.

They need it

But while you’re stood by watching, just realise…remember…

That box isn’t for you.

Breathe on the flats, ready to do it all again.

Just writing that, and reading it back my heart starts to race… it’s thrilling, exciting… it’s LIVING!

You don’t need a motherfucking box with all its boring walls thats the same as everyone else’s.

You’ll get one of those when you die.

Why would you wanna live in one?

Are you practising to be dead already?
This ain’t meant to be a test run for the end of your damn days (cos that’s where it’s heading)

Shit happens.
It will.
Move on.

But here’s what I know… I’d rather live my rickety rollercoaster life, with one wheel falling off, and no safety belt every damn day of life waiting to see what’s around the next bend, than the boring as shit safe box life where I make no decisions, other than the safe decisions.
I’d rather decide, live, play, learn, let go, fail and fuck up than do nothing.

Do nothing and play safe
Sit in my box
Stay safe
Watch TV every night and go to work every day

That’s not living


WHY would you do that to yourself?

I’m not saying it’s not right for some people… for some people that IS how they want to spend their life, and thats fine. That’s up to them, and they’re welcome to it as long as they’re not telling me I should be doing the same.
It’s not for me…
